Invited by Major James Coleby, Baxterbear joins the Coldstream Guards in Berwick Upon Tweed on their 425 mile march from Scotland to London. From Major to soldier all Coldstreamers wore a Baxterbear on their daysacks.
Three hundred and fifty years ago, soldiers set off from Coldstream on the same incredible journey in the same blizzard conditions.
Around 100 members of Number Seven Company, some of whom are from the North East and have served in Afghanistan and Iraq, marched to Berwick on the first leg of their journey.
