Baxterbear was back at the British Military Tournament for the second year running and he was TREEKLED to perform in front of Her Majesty the Queen. After a successful first year riding a horse as BMT mascot in 2010, Baxterbear thought he’d raise his game this year by riding two horses at the same time, and the crowd loved it! Baxterbear was joined by troops from the US and British military, as well as the US Army Drill Team and the White Helmets Motorcycle Display Team.
Baxterbear was TREEKLED to make a difference for St Columba’s Hospice at Prestonfield House. He was TREEKLED to be fundraising for his first ever hospice and cannot wait for the next time he can make a difference. Prestonfield House kindly held their Christmas Collection in aid of St Columbas Hospice and owner James Thomson invited Baxterbear to take part. Christmas is a special time for Baxterbear. As he always says, ‘From business bear to charity bear, my mission is to make a difference’, and Christmas is a great time to make a difference. Baxterbear met new friends at St Columbas Hospice who left with their own Baxterbears. James Thomson is one of the most well-known restaurateurs in Scotland, and he also owns the Witchery and the Tower Restaurant, on top of the Scottish National Museum.
