With Baxterbear by their side and still wearing Baxterbears on their day-sacks the Coldstreamers arrived in York on January 14, 2010 after a gruelling trip across the North York Moors. They departed from York Minster on the morning of January 15 cheered on by hundreds of children dressed in red – Baxterbear’s favourite colour!
The root takes in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Newcastle, Durham, York, Selby, Doncaster, Worksop, Mansfield, Loughborough, Market Harborough, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Dunstable, St Albans, Barnet and Woolwich in south-east London.
